Internet Merchant Requirements
These elements are required by Visa and Mastercard on all new internet merchant account applications. ALL requirements must be met before beginning the approval process or you will be denied.
DBA Name – The DBA name must appear prominently on the website. The product being sold should correlate with the DBA name.
Website Policy Requirements – The refund policy must be clearly stated and either visible or linked to on a separate page in the footer of the site.

Contact Information – Contact information must be clearly posted on the website, include phone number, email address and business address (must include USA at the end of the address).
Secured SSL Certificate – The order page, which card data is entered during the checkout process, must be secured with an SSL.
Age Verification – If the website sells any age restricted products (see examples below), an Age Verification pop-up or plugin is required when visitors attempt to visit the website.

Card Brand Logos – Download card brand logo image and place in footer of your website. Badge must be visible from all pages across the website (including during checkout). Logos must be the up-to-date styling and full color.
Verified Merchant Badge – Select a badge that fits with the look of your website and use the provided code in the footer of your website. Badge must be visible from all pages across the website (including during checkout).
